Tyler Treadwell was born in Alabama, raised in New Mexico, and educated at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Tyler started his animation career in New York, with a brief stint in production and several educational projects. Tyler has been working as a freelance animator for three years, and specializes in educational content, pixilation, and cut paper.

He is familiar with Adobe Flash, After Effects, and Apple's Final Cut Pro and has also worked on stop-motion projects as both an animator and a puppet-builder. He currently lives in Albuquerque, but makes frequent visits to the east coast.
